Billy Miller has been announced as the new Jason Morgan on General Hospital. And look, here he is in a black shirt, all ready to rock and roll. Word is that he’s started filming already and his rumored first scene is with none other than Liz!

Okay, I’ve wanted Billy Miller on GH ever since it was announced that he was leaving Y&R. His last scenes on Y&R, with Michael Muhney, were pure perfection – a dad confronting the driver who accidentally killed his daughter. There is a reason why he is a two time Emmy winner. With that said, I want Jason to come back as Jason Quartermaine, not Morgan. A car crash took Jason Q’s identity from him and he became “Stone cold” – I want a reversal of that storyline. Let’s see Jason M return as Jason Q – someone who feels guilt and shame for the life he has led. And I want Liz to be his savior, as Robin was after the first car crash. I know there will be lots of drama with wife Sam, but I always felt that Jason was Liz’s adult love, the one she just couldn’t get over. I’d love to see the two hook up again. And I still love Sam and Silas – their hospital scenes with Danny were sheer beauty. What are the odds both couples can have their own happy endings? Well, this is a soap so we know there will be lots of drama but one can hope, nonetheless. 😉

Because its a soap, would help those so called Jason lovers of old be a more willing GH lovers more accepting of the new Jason…
Giada — Absolutely, it’s always tough to accept a recast for a character you once loved. And I think so many Jason fans are also fans of one of his couples, and that is all about chemistry, which will change with a new actor. Can’t wait to see him interact with everyone.
