Terrific Website for a Terrific Author

I was doing some random website visits earlier today, to check out some of my favorite authors and what's going on in their worlds.  Visit www.juliegarwood.com if you haven't lately. Not only is she one of my favorite authors, she now has one of my favorite websites. It takes a while to load, but it's well worth it. (And I normally am frustrated by excess flash.) Enjoy! Why do I post this here? Because she's such a fabulous author, first of all… but also because her website does her such justice.  This is the avenue where my two worlds – writing and design – comes together.  An author without a website is rather like someone who has a home loan in hand but doesn't bother to buy a home.  What good is all that fabulous publication if you don't advertise yourself? Your website should be a reflection of who you are, what you write and what you want the world to think and feel when they think of you.  Julie Garwood's writing is outstanding, and now her website matches.  Great job.
