As mentioned earlier, we were having some problems with the blog being accessible (which some of you may have known before I did!) Thanks to Debra St. John for dropping me a note to let me know.
The fix was fortunately easy, but it was also something I didn't know, so I thought I'd share it on the blog with you. If you are a blog writer and you have one of your own, it's a good idea NOT to write your posts in Microsoft Word and copy/paste them into your blog. Apparently, MS Word adds its own code to your post (and if you're ever in doubt, click the "HTML" button when creating your post and the "mso" code will show up at the top.).
I know, sounds odd doesn't it… a Microsoft product (Word) creates a problem that another Microsoft product (IE) can't handle. But it works fine in other browsers. Funny.
Thanks to the Wordpress support forums and user iridiax (thanks again!), this was a really easy fix. So that's the second half of this public service announcement… before you spend hours banging your head against the wall, ask the pros. They know more.
But, we should be back to normal now and everything should work properly. Thanks for your patience. I'll be adding Jeff's post back in this afternoon.
