Hi, my name is Jeannie and I’m a font addict.
Seriously.. I have way more fonts on my computer than any woman probably should. Forget shoe problems, I have serious storage capacity space issues because of my fonts.
But I believe that a well chosen font can be the difference between emotional impact in your design and your intended audience’s gaze gliding right on by. So this series focuses on fonts I think I , er… you should own.
This time, I’m focusing on great fonts under $20.
Font Name: Didonesque Ghost
Where to Buy: Creative Market
Current Price: $19
What I love: I love the, well, ghost lines of this font. I love how the stems of the letters fade into elegant, thin lines. It has a strong, yet ethereal look and feel to it.
Font Name: Ball Pen
Where to Buy: Creative Market
Current Price: $16.00
What I love: This is a terrific handwritten font – a great option for when you want to mimic true handwriting, add a bold but whimsical headline or even build out something with some lines of handwritten text. The words are easily read and that makes this useful for many purposes.
Font Name: Cassannet Plus
Where to Buy: atipofoundry.com
Price: Free for regular | Name your price for full family of fonts
What I love: I seriously love the letters in this font – the ones that come with the regular font, but also the ligatures created for flair and fun with certain letters. Check these out below. They offer a really fun way to customize this and make it truly a great option for a logo font or a headline font in a design.
And here are a few more options in the full family font pack. Subtle changes, but I love how they add in just the right amount of flair to really make it stand out.
