What I love about the Cover
There were so many elements to this cover that I fell in love with the minute I saw it. There’s a reverence to it, a compassion, a sadness—and it just evokes emotion. The colors are beautifully woven. The expression on the woman’s face, her closed eyes, her bowed head — when you combine this imagery with the title of the book, you feel like you should be showing respect, showing reverence to something. Or at least I did.
This cover has incredible texture and depth to it. And the butterfly — I love that detail in the corner. The colors in the butterfly wings are captured and complimented by the color of the author’s name. This cover made me want to read this book.
