This Old House: Love Comes Home

by Lavada Dee 13 November 2009 3 Comments

ld-tohlch32009 has been an incredible year.  In January “For Love or Money” was released.   In September “Forever Love” and in October  “This Old House:  Love Comes Home”  came out.  And, I still have another romantic suspense scheduled for this year.

Love Comes Home was my debut book (it’s a re-release) and one I just couldn’t give up on.  I fell in love with the characters from the very first.   The publisher has its heat level as Sweet which is what I had wanted it to be.  Even though there isn’t explicit sex it’s charged with emotion and brings a different type of sensuality.

ELEVATOR PITCH:
They need each other and what they can offer seems ideal except these two people attract attention. They’re young, beautiful and no one in Ross’s home town is going to believe Katherine’s just the nanny.
Solution…marriage. Rules… in name only.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING:
“Lavada Dee writes a heart warming story with just the right amount of sexual tension.”
~ Lucy Monroe

“Lavada is an exceptional author. The book was excellent with several surprises. I loved the characters. Lavada needs to do a sequel with the characters, much like the Coleman family Fern Michaels has written about. I would recommend this book to everyone.”
~ Sandy Kennedy

“This Old House’ is a fulfilling, enjoyable read. It gave me the same comforting, homey feeling as an afternoon spent with dear friends!”
~ Theresa Scott

Love Comes Home has been compared to a Hallmark movie.  I couldn’t ask for more.  Like I said 2009 has been a year of a lot of ups and a few downs.  And, it has literally slipped by. I’m excited to see what 2010 brings.

I love this story, especially Katherine’s reaction to the house. It feels like home. And I come away from the story smiling. :)

Thank you Laurie. I’m really thinking about writing more of this genre. I like the feeling of living in the story during the process.
