Christmas Wishes

by Jeannie Ruesch

We finally did it! The move has happened and we’re now settled (well, on our way to being settled) in our new home. My commute home this evening was a mere ten minutes (versus the two-hour commute I’ve been dealing with on most nights).Β  It was bliss. Wonderful. And tonight, we were able to decorate our Christmas tree.

Our old house had a cute, little Charlie Brown tree that my hubby got for my son – so he would have a tree.Β  And tonight, we got to decorate the “big” tree.Β  (It looks pretty darn great,if I do say so myself. πŸ™‚Β  And the tree — for some reason — was a sign of hope. It helped me to see that we’re almost near the end of this crazy time.Β  It helped me see past the day to day dealing.Β  And one of my hopes for this whole thing was that we’d be in our house by Christmas.Β  And we are. πŸ™‚

So this is just my way of hoping that your Christmas wishes come true, whatever they may be.

Congratulations Jeannie, gaining back the commute time will give extra when you most need it. May all of your Christmas wishes come true.

Best wishes to you and your family, Jeannie. What a special memory – the first thing you did in the new house was decorate the tree! And that will be something that will stay with you and every year you’ll bring out that same joyful moment and remember. Bless you and enjoy!

Thanks, Laurie, Lavada, Robin and Patti Ann — It is wonderful to be here! As my boss keeps saying, a “whole new Jeannie.” LOL So many layers of stress lifted…even with the mounds of boxes yet to unpack, the old house to finish and things still to do.

Christmas is here, and we’re together. That’s really all that matters. πŸ™‚
